Salford-ESPEN Intestinal Failure Workshop
Salford’s Intestinal Failure (IF) team ran their 13th consecutive annual ESPEN-supported and endorsed IF Conference on Friday 28th and Saturday 29th March 2024.
Thirty-four multi-disciplinary delegates, that included nurses, physicians, surgeons, dietitians, pharmacists came to Salford (UK) for 2-days from Singapore, Thailand, Latvia, Dubai, Malta, Italy, Slovenia, Poland, Netherlands, Sweden, Estonia, Norway, Egypt, Sri Lanka, Denmark and the UK.
The event included case discussions, ward rounds and practical, hands-on workshops. The Workshop received excellent feedback again, with attendees highlighting that the lessons learned will help them develop services in their own countries and also help them build long-term networks in Intestinal Failure.
Please feel free to contact Professor Simon Lal if you are interested in attending the IF workshop in 2026.
